Lucrecia Zappi

Lucrecia Zappi is the author of two novels, Onça Preta (2013), which has been optioned for film by a Brazilian production company, and Acre (2017), which made the shortlist for the Jabuti Prize, Brazil's most prestigious literary award. Her first book, Mil-folhas, a children's book about the history of patisserie, won the Ragazzi Prize in 2011. A graduate of the NYU Creative Writing program, she is based in New York, where she is currently at work on her third novel.
