Larissa Hernández worked as a professor and researcher at the Center for Communications Research at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. She is a candidate for a master's degree in literature at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. She was the coordinator and general producer of educational activities and cultural events at the Gabriel García Márquez Iberoamerican Foundation for New Journalism.
